Redevelopment of Fortress House approved by DPC
The redevelopment of Fortress House has been approved by the Development and Planning Commission. The developer intends for the historical building to be regenerated to accommodate a cultural and social hub.
And, the go-ahead has been given for Mid Town to enter its final stage of construction, with approval for Building E.
The DPC approved a change of use to the new building from mostly commercial and office space to a largely residential building, with the developer citing market demand for the change.
Building E continues the scheme and maintains the look of the existing elements of the Mid Town project.
