Taken directly from my book, Live Drum & Bass, this is my original transcription of the the drum break in "Amen, Brother" by The Winstons, 1969. This is commonly cited as the most sampled break in all of music history. If you'd like to get into playing breakbeats live, Amen is THE first beat to know.
