I have changed the title becasue apparently people were expecting way more then a quick walkthrough on how I was using this plugin in a project I was working on, This is NOT a detailed tutorial. It is also NOT a tutorial ON MIDI, or Ableton routing.
This episode focuses on showing how you can use Polyverse/Infected Mushroom's plugin Manipulator to create harmonies for backing vocals using MIDI. And I do ONLY that here.
If you don't already know how to add plugins to a track, or how to route MIDI into a plugin there are plenty of tutorials on that but the short answer is:
First create a midi track.
Put Manipulator on the audio track you want to control.
Then set the MIDI tracks output to the audio track and when you play notes it should control the audio and you can adjust the wet/dry
