This can be done by mounting it within a virtual machine using VMware Workstation/Player, or directly in Windows via third-party tools like OSFMount or DiskInternals VMFS Recovery, which mount it as a local drive. Once mounted, copy the specific files or folders you wish to include in your ISO to a temporary location on your host system. Next, utilize an ISO creation utility such as ImgBurn, CDBurnerXP, or InfraRecorder. Launch the software, select the option to create a data disc image, add your copied files, and save the output as an .iso file. This process yields a data ISO from the VMDK's contents; it does not automatically convert an installed operating system into a bootable OS installer ISO, which requires more advanced system preparation and bootloader configuration.
