Introduction to Piano Apps
------------------------------------------------
Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. Today, I'm reviewing the best piano apps for beginners. I've always wanted to learn the piano because it looks like a fun instrument to play. I downloaded various piano apps for Android and iPhone to find the best ones for beginners and tested each one to highlight their pros and cons. Starting with the basics was challenging, but I improved over time. Initially, I played slowly, learning the keys and finger placements.
After about a week, I got the hang of it, and it became fun. I then learned to read music sheets and play some of my favorite songs. I'll review three subscription services that helped me learn to play the piano: Simply Piano, Skoove, and Playground Sessions. I'll explain how to use them, their costs, and who might benefit from them. If you want to try any of these services, I have special affiliate discount links in the description below, giving you an extra discount and helping support the channel.

Simply Piano
------------------------------------------------
First up is Simply Piano, a popular app designed for beginners. Within about 10 days, I was playing my first song with both hands, which I never thought possible. The app has a bright, kid-friendly interface but no desktop or browser version. It works with any acoustic piano using your device's microphone. Simply Piano offers lessons in piano, guitar, and singing, focusing on acoustic instruments. Its unique MusicSense feature listens to your playing and provides instant feedback, although note recognition can vary by device. You can practice using an onscreen keyboard or connect an electronic keyboard via Bluetooth, USB, or MIDI.
Simply Piano has a limited free version with one course in Piano Basics. The premium plan costs $12.50 per month or $149 annually, including a two-week free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. The app offers around 30 courses, starting with basics and branching into chord lessons and solo lessons. Lessons feel like games, making learning fun, but the app might be too simple for serious learners. The extensive catalog of over 5,000 songs is impressive, though it lacks a metronome feature. Simply Piano also has an active Facebook group for support. Despite some limitations, it’s a great tool for beginners and younger users.
