The Big Changes to Horus' Death | Warhammer 40k Lore
For a long time it’s been believed that, during the final battle between Horus and the Emperor at the climax of the Heresy, the former’s soul was completely obliterated by the Emperor in a mighty psychic attack.
Well, now that belief has given way to a new interpretation of the lore because, in The End and the Death Volume 3 by Dan Abnett – it seems Horus’ end might not have been as final as we first thought.
