Vadim Anokhin (RUS) produced a stunning performance to edge out Fabian Kauter (SUI) in the gold match of the FIE Grand Prix in Doha, Qatar. The Russian fencer dominated the final from the beginning eventually prevailing 15-10 in the showpiece match. Yannick Borel of France and Bas Verwijlen of Nederland took the bronze.
