First, use the built in scanner in the WhatsApp app. Do not use your phone's default camera scanner. Open WhatsApp on your phone, go to "Settings," and tap the QR code icon next to your name. Then scan the QR code from your computer screen.
Second, disable dark mode extensions on your web browser. Dark mode extensions can invert the black and white grid of the QR code, making it unreadable. Turn off dark mode or any color inversion extensions temporarily.
Third, clear your browser cookies and cache. This can remove corrupted data that may interfere with the scan.
If the issue persists, clear the WhatsApp app cache. Tap and hold the app icon, go to "Storage," and select "Clear Cache." Then try scanning again.
