4. Travelling through Harecastle Tunnel & Storm on Narrowboat
I had booked my passage through the Harecastle Tunnel on the Trent and Mersey canal, so needed to make the appointment. Little did I know I'd nearly miss it as Storm Doris swept in and grounded my narrowboat on the side of the canal. I got there in the end and the tunnel was really long, 1.5 miles in fact.
