This lesson describes the software calculation of the water tower from Example 1 of the Instructions for Determining the Design Seismic Load on Buildings and Structures Taking into Account the Substance Flexibility with a Change in the Direction of Seismic Impact in the LIRA SAPR software package.
Activities performed in the lesson:
1) Analysis of structural deformations;
2) Analysis of internal forces in elements (mosaic of internal forces);
3) Selecting elements in LIRA SAPR;
4) Fragmentation of the diagram/restoration of the structure;
5) Editing dynamic load cases in LIRA SARP;
6) Modifying direction cosines for seismic impact;
