Back in the Woodbox for EP. #22 ! This time we are happy to host Claudio as our next guest.
Claudio Maura (Aruam), born in Rome in 1987, has been a prominent figure in the world of discography and DJing for thirteen years with his project, Doomwork. His extensive repertoire includes releases on some of the most influential underground and mainstream record labels, such as Cocoon, Ovum, Get Physical, Quartz, Sony, and Café del Mar.
In 2009, his track "Jazzy Stuff" became the best-selling tech-house record on Beatport and the fifth highest-selling track in the platform's history. This success was followed by a nomination at the 2010 Beatport Awards for Best Deep House Record.
As a DJ and live performer, his tours have taken him to over seventy cities worldwide, with performances at iconic clubs including Air in Tokyo, Treehouse in Miami, El Row, Lost Beach Club, Goa, and Tenax.
In recent years, alongside his touring and studio work, he has honed his skills as a sound designer. This expertise has led him to a professorship at the electronic division of the Centro Studi Musicali in Rome.
