What this video is about
I’m revealing the NestJS + Microservices curriculum I’ll teach in the full-stack program—what topics we’ll cover, why they matter in real projects, and how the learning path is structured (Beginner → Intermediate → Advanced).
Today is concepts-only (no coding demo). The advanced pieces will be learned practically in a real microservices project later.

What you’ll learn (high level)

Beginner: Modules & app structure, controllers/routing, providers & DI, pipes/filters/interceptors/guards, config with @nestjs/config + Joi, TypeORM fundamentals (entities, relations, migrations, transactions), JWT auth (access/refresh), Redis caching + rate limiting.

Intermediate: TypeORM deep dive (QueryBuilder, soft deletes), file uploads + S3 signed URLs, RabbitMQ (commands vs events, retries, DLQ), Idempotency & Outbox concepts, GraphQL fundamentals (code-first, resolvers, DataLoader), caching patterns, logging/metrics basics.

Advanced (hands-on later): Saga choreography, event versioning, production idempotency/outbox, retries/backoff/DLQ replays, GraphQL auth + persisted queries, security hardening, minimal tracing/correlation IDs, env/secret patterns, deployment hand-off.

Tech we’ll touch
NestJS • TypeScript • TypeORM + PostgreSQL • Redis • RabbitMQ • GraphQL (code-first) • class-validator/class-transformer

Who this is for
Self-taught devs and junior–mid engineers who are tired of CRUD tutorials and want production patterns (retries, DLQ, idempotency, caching, uploads, metrics).
