Hi everyone. In this tutorial, I'll show you a fast and easy method to create a fully interactive, clickable checkbox directly inside Canva. This is perfect for creating digital planners, to-do lists, or interactive worksheets. Let's begin.

Step 1. Set up your canvas.
From the Canva home screen, click “Create” to Create new design.

Step 2. Access the Generate Code tool.
Go to the "Elements" tab on the left sidebar. find the section labeled "Generate images." Click the small arrow or dropdown icon next to it. From the options, select "Generate code."

Step 3. Enter your prompt.
A text box will appear. Right-click inside the box and paste the following prompt.
Prompt: Design a clickable checkbox consisting solely of the square box, no label or text, placed on a clean yellow background, with the outline rendered in solid black."

Once the prompt is entered, click the "Generate code" button.

Step 4. Add the generated checkbox to your page.
Canva's AI will process your request and generate a checkbox image. Click on the generated result to add it to your canvas.

Step 5. Crop and resize the checkbox.
Select the image on your canvas. Zoom in for better accuracy. Crop the image tightly so that only the checkbox square remains. You can do this by double-clicking the image and dragging the crop handles inward. Then, resize the cropped box to your desired size.

Step 6. Test the interactive function.
Double-click the checkbox image on your canvas. You should now be able to click inside the box to check it, and click again to uncheck it. This interactivity is native to this specific AI-generated code image.

Step 7. Create a list.
To make a checklist, select your checkbox and duplicate it as many times as needed. Arrange the copies vertically on your page.

Step 8. Add your text.
Go to the "Text" tab and add a heading or body text. Type your list items, such as "Item one," "Item two," and so on. Position each text label next to its corresponding checkbox. You can adjust the layering and alignment as needed.

Step 9. Finalize your design.
Your interactive checklist is now complete. Users can double-click each box to check or uncheck items directly within the Canva editing view.

And that's how you create a clickable checkbox in Canva. I hope this tutorial has been helpful. If it has, please subscribe to the channel for more Canva tips and tricks. Thanks for watching.
