REKAP ⚾️ Cubs 10-6 Win Over the Pirates - The Cubs come back in a big way
Kap says this was a quality victory as it was the #ChicagoCubs second biggest comeback of the season. They were down 5-1 at one point in the game but had a big sixth inning. #DrewSmyly did not have a great outing. He went 6 innings and gave up 9 hits and 5 runs including 2 home runs in the very first inning. Going into the #Cubs half of the 6th inning they were down 5-1. But #DansbySwanson and #MikeTauchman had big nights, both getting 3 hits in the game. #IanHapp had 2 RBIs in the game and so did #SeiyaSuzuki. Kap loved seeing the offense charge back in the game.
Kap's only issue in the game was Ross handing the ball to #MichaelFulmer in the 7th inning after the Cubs had taken a small lead. Fulmer did end up giving up a run but the Cubs would add on and #LeiterJr and #AdbertAlzolay would shut the door on the Pirates and seal the victory for the Cubs.
