رِجَالٌۙ لَا تُلْه۪يهِمْ تِجَارَةٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَنْ ذِكْرِ وَاِقَامِ الصَّلٰوةِ وَا۪يتَٓاءِ الزَّكٰوةِۙ يَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا The Virtues and Mysteries of Surah An-Nur
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Teach your men Surah Al-Ma'idah, and your women Surah An-Nur." (1)
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites Surah An-Nur, Allah will grant him ten good deeds equal to the number of believers in the past and the future." (2)
Narrated on the Virtues and Secrets of Surah An-Nur
Whoever recites this Surah will be freed from whispers and his faith will be perfected.
To be free from sins committed with the tongue, verses 16-18 of Surah An-Nur should be recited along with the Basmala.
If someone harbors lustful feelings towards women, verse 33 of Surah An-Nur should be written on a piece of paper, left until the writing is erased, and then given water to drink, or if that water is added to meals, he will be freed from those bad habits with the help of Allah.
Whoever fasts on Thursday and Friday should recite Surah Yasin before the afternoon prayer on Friday, and Surah Al-Kahf after the afternoon prayer, and verses 35-38 of Surah An-Nur. If a person recites these verses along with the Quran and carries them with them, Allah Almighty will expand their sustenance and fulfill their desires.
The verses to be recited and carried are as follows:
If a person suffering from eye pain recites verse 35 of Surah An-Nur along with Ayat al-Kursi and prays for it, they will be cured with the help of Allah Almighty.
