4G18 Fluttering Sound Surge Bolt On Turbo Waja 1.6 MMC
Fluttering/Surge sound due to bad blow off valve or diverter valve...
This is not healthy to turbo as the pressure was building up before the throttle as the throttle let off.
The air inside the pipe doesn’t have places to spread out the pressure, on oem turbo car they have a built in recirculate valve or blow by valve in their turbo system.
The pressure inside the turbo piping will return back to the turbo.
This will cause massive impact on the turbo fin or shaft free play.
It will cost you much as you don’t care about it.
