Automated Home Assistant Backups - Using a 321 Backup Strategy
Today we’ll run through backup of your precious Home Assistant configuration and apply the 3-2-1 backup strategy.
The 3-2-1 backup strategy is a simple and effective way to ensure that your data is safe and secure. The rule states that you should have three copies of your data, stored on two different types of media, with one copy stored offsite.
This strategy ensures that you have multiple copies of your data in case one copy is lost or damaged. And by storing one copy offsite, you can protect against disasters like fires or floods that might destroy all of your local backups.
