LaTeX List Basics Tutorial. Typesetting with "itemize", "enumerate" and "description".
The basics of LaTeX lists. It’s possible to get really deep into lists with LaTeX. We will only cover the basics here. Itemizing Lists with itemize.
Suppose that you simply want to place bullets in front of the items of your
list. We can itemize, enumerate and describe lists. Nesting with itemize.
When nesting lists with itemize, symbols other than bullets are used on the lower levels.
Nesting with enumerate. When nesting, arabic numerals are only used on the highest level. That changes as we go into deeper levels of nesting depth. Describing Lists with description. Nesting with description. When nesting several description environments, only the indentation changes. Mixing nested list environmensts. There is no problem in mixing list environments. Try nesting description environments within an enumerate evironment nested within an itemize environment.
