Laughter Is The Best Medicine - Autism VLOG - Keira's CMV Journey
Kids laughter is the best!
But this laughter, affection and cuddles have been something we have worked so hard for. About 5-6 months ago, Keira wouldn't even come close to wanting to give us a cuddle. She hated being touched, even when she hurt herself, we couldn't even give her a cuddle to make it all better. It was hard, it was 3.5 years of no affection from our baby girl.
Well....thats until now. Something in Keira's little brain has clicked and she now understands cuddles are the best. Cuddles keep you warm and cuddles make you feel safe and secure.
Don't get me wrong, she still hates to be touched, but at least now we get at least 1 or 2 hugs a day. And they are the most amazing cuddles ever.
We love you Keira!
Autism is amazing. CMV we are kicking your butt and proving everyone wrong. Keira is the boss!
