MODELING SMOOTH TOPOGRAPHY IN REVIT FROM DWG CAD FILES and REVIT MODEL LINES
In short these are the steps you need to do:
Step 1 - Import the dwg file, adjust the scale
Step 2 - Select the appropriate contour line which will be 0.00 and set it to Level 1 (Ground floor level)
Step 3 - Using the Model Line tool, model the contour lines following the contour lines from the dwg file
Step 4 - Hide everything except Model Lines and export them as a dwg file
Step 5 - Insert dwg line model. The lines will come to the same place in Revit because they share the same coordinate system with Revit since they were exported from Revit.
Step 6 - using the inserted dwg in Revit automatically create topography.
This way you can correct your topography and complete the missing elevations in the dwg file and in this way you can make the surface of your topography look smooth.
