Sonic Unleashed came hot off the tail of the critical failure of Sonic 06 and gamers weren't exactly keen on the prospect of a radical departure from Sonic's typical high-speed gameplay. So, as you might imagine, Sonic Unleashed's slower-paced "Werehog" gameplay didn't really resonate with the general gaming populous upon the game's original release on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 (and Nintendo Wii but this video isn't about that version so just pretend it doesn't exist for right now shhhh)
But today, fans remember Sonic Unleashed fondly, and with the release of Unleashed Recompiled earlier this year, Sonic Unleashed has more players than ever before. Or in other words, more people for me to victimize with some aggressively nerdy trivia about a video game rodent, which is what I do in this video, like, the whole time. Sorry.
