Killed German soldier found still wearing his wedding ring - World War II exhumations
During the recovery of the bodies of missing German soldiers on the eastern front, one soldier's body is found with his wedding band still on his hand. The ring is made of gold, so it has no oxydated, meaning that all the original inscriptions can still be read on the inside.
