Majella Audio MLEG Envelope Generator & LFO // 6HP polarising Eurorack modulation
Here we have the MLEG looping and gated envelope generator for Eurorack from Majella Audio. It’s a 6HP module that functions as an ADSR and LFO with the onboard loop switch which can loop through slow evolving modulation through to audio rates. There’s an output polariser (which is an attenuverter) for level control (envelope peaks are 8V) through zero to inverted level control as well. The envelopes are nice and snappy but can be slowed down for longing times with the slow switch.
A note on the build quality (as I like such things) the graphics are scratch and solvent resistant as they have a specialised company in the Netherlands anodise them graphics into the panel ... nice! The rest of the build is top notch too and at a great price!
This video will serve as a general tutorial on ADSRs and looping envelopes with patch ideas to show how modulation can be used for a variety of things. I hope it’s useful to you and your system so you can apply the ideas and try them for yourself.
