Fix YouTube Comment Box Not Showing on Android (2026) | Can’t Comment on Mobile App

Follow these simple steps to get your comments working again.
✅ 1. Clear YouTube App Data
Go to Settings → Apps → YouTube → Storage → Clear Cache → Clear Data.
This resets the comment module and usually brings back the missing comment box.
✅ 2. Update WebView, Chrome & YouTube
YouTube comments rely on Android System WebView.
Open Play Store and update:
• Android System WebView
• Google Chrome
• YouTube
Restart your phone afterward.
✅ 3. Turn Off Restricted Mode
YouTube → Profile → Settings → General → Restricted Mode → OFF
