The basis of the "lazy" TWIX, which can be prepared in 10 minutes, is healthy pumpkin, almond flour and nut butter, and instead of chocolate - the most delicate cream of avocado and carob. This dessert is not only delicious, but also rich in vitamins and healthy fats. Subscribe to my channel and cook with me!
Base and filling:
• 95 g almond flour
• 120 g pumpkin puree
• 125 g peanut butter
• sweetener to taste
• 1-2 tablespoons plant milk (almond, oat, etc.) or water if extra moisture is needed
• Pinch of salt
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Chocolate frosting (frosting substitute):
• 1 ripe avocado
• 1 tablespoon coconut oil
• 3 tablespoons carob
• Syrup or sweetener to taste (e.g. 1 teaspoon fit parade)
• Pinch of salt
• 1/4 cup nut milk (optional, for consistency)
Directions:
1. Mixing the base and filling:
• In a bowl, mix almond flour, pumpkin puree, peanut butter, agave syrup and a pinch of salt. If necessary, add 1-2 tablespoons of plant milk to make the mixture smooth and pliable.
2. Forming the bars:
• Pour the mixture into a form covered with parchment paper and tamp, smooth the surface.
3. Making the chocolate cream:
• In a blender, combine avocado, coconut oil, carob, syrup or sweetener, a pinch of salt and nut milk (if you want a softer consistency). Blend until smooth.
4. Applying the cream:
• Pour the resulting chocolate cream over the surface of the bars and carefully spread it.
5. Cooling:
• Put the bars in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours so that they harden well. 6. Cutting:
• Take out the bars and cut them into portions.
