This video demonstrates the simulation of a Full bridge inverter using MATLAB / SIMULINK. The inverter is basically a device that converters DC to AC. Full bridge inverters employ four switches. When S1 and S2 are ON positive voltage will appear across the load. When S3 and S4 are ON a negative voltage will appear across the load. The requirement of a three-wire DC supply in Half-bridge inverter is overcome by using a Full bridge inverter circuit. Hence, the full-bridge inverter circuit is popularly used in Practical applications.

Note : Two thyristors should not be triggered in the same leg. It will lead to a short circuit.
