How to connect D5100 DSLR camera to 10 inch dobsonian telescope (Orion XT10g) for astrophotography. This works!:
(Sorry for the fact that this video is slightly out of focus - the irony in that has not passed me by! LOL. Some day if I have the time I will record again with a better focus!)
I finally found out how to get my DSLR to focus properly on my 10 inch dobsonian telescope.
Parts needed for a 1.25 setup:
1) DSLR
2) T- ring
3) T- adapter (nose-piece only!)
4) 1.25 inch barlow
5) 1.25 inch adapter (used to attach to 2 inch focuser)
6) telescope
