How do we elect an assembly? The most commonly used voting systems, such as the multi-member plurality system without party lists and the majority system with party lists, have many undesirable characteristics. However, a much better alternative exists and is used in some countries: the single transferable vote. But we can go even further and prioritize an assembly that is consensually satisfactory, rather than one polarized by divisions within the population. #TheFabulousProject #Sunflower #Bayes #Science4All
