William Delaney is an adventurer, a con man, a lover of easy money and feminine charms. His gift for gab and flattery allows him to become "one of the guys" in any company, but sometimes it backfires. He's extremely selfish – he only does what benefits him, so he'll shamelessly trade "old, useless" friends for more "promising" ones, always presenting it all in an exceptionally noble light (it's not betrayal – that's just how things worked out!). It seems nothing can shake his high spirits – even the most dire predicaments can't wipe the smile off his face. For him, any problem is just a new condition in variables, which he will certainly turn in such a way as to benefit from it.
