How We Made: Hex Head Cap Screw With Custom Threads And A Cross-Drilled Hole
In this episode of How We Made, Earnest Machine’s Engineering and Manufacturing Center will take a standard Hex Head Cap Screw and rework it to the specifications provided by the customer. During this process, you will see how we cross-drilled a hole into the existing threads, cut the product to length, chamfered the lead thread, and the tools we used in order to extend the thread length.
