Robotic Lokomat® is a robotic gait orthoses for adult and children.
Lokomat therapy allows Daniel to train beyond his current capabilities. lok Daniel actively participate combined with afferent feedback creates a stimulating reorganization of his central nervous system, which
leads to longer training sessions with adjustable gait pattern to enable him to have a more normal gait and guidance.
Lokomat software keep track of Daniel's progress regarding to duration, distance, speed, body weight support, and guidance % of force on the computer monitor along with history of his progress.
It provides a dynamic body weight support, guidance force with hips support.
Daniel started out with only 20 minutes session. By his 9th therapy session, Daniel walked continuously without any interruptions for 1001 meters in 35 minutes!
The intended use of the Lokomat is to support treadmill training to treat patients, like Daniel, with walking disabilities caused by neurological, muscular or bone-related disorders.
