5 Ways to 3D print your SVG photo.
Wanting to do some SVG printing of my family photos and I did some prototypes to see which is the best way to go.
The last photo was converted to SVG and then I use it also for some lithopane were i changed the filament in the last layer/s.
1st Photo: SVG conversion and small adjument with Inkscape. Used tinkercad to make a cut in a box.
2nd Photo. Same as 1 but i extruded instead of a cut.
3rd. Lithopane with 2mm width from SVG.
4th. 2 colors( transparent and back) Lithopane 3,8 mm width.
5th. 3 colors(+white) Lithopane width 3.8mm changed at different layers.
I think the 5th one would be a good one to with a little more width for more detail.
