REKAP: 🏈 Chicago Bears draft WR Luther Burden, OT Ozzy Trapilo & DL Shemar Turner in Rd 2 of Draft
The #chicagobears made three picks on day 2 of the #nfldraft after making a trade with the #buffalobills to move down and acquire and extra 2nd round pick and a 4th round pick. The #bears selected #mizzou WR #lutherburden with the 39th overall pick. He was the #1 WR on the Bears board and is a big time weapon that has #deebosamuel comps. Some are questioning why the Bears didn’t go with a left tackle or Edge there, but the went with a OT with their next pick, selecting #ozzytrapilo from #bostoncollege who has primarily played right tackle. He’s a 6’8” beast, but who will move to the left side? That’ll be something to be determined. Finally, the Bears selected DT #shemarturner to beef up their interior line on defense.
#kap includes more information on 1st round pick #colstonloveland including a sound byte after a game against #michiganstate. It’s a full breakdown of Day 2 of the NFL Draft for the Bears!
