Negative Binomial Distribution Moment Generating Function
In this video I derive the Moment Generating Function of the Negative Binomial Distribution.
The first method is to use the Moment Generating Function of the Geometric Distribution and the fact that the Geometric Distribution is a special case of the Binomial Distribution.
The second method uses the definition of the Moment Generating Function for the Negative Binomial Distribution whilst making use of the Negative Binomial Series.
