First testflights SAMPLIFLY
SGS, BASF and ADLC are joining forces with the innovation project Samplifly to transport petrochemical analysis samples in an industrial environment using drones. With this prestigious project, the strategic partners aim to make port operations more efficient and reduce the environmental impact of transporting dangerous goods. Some preliminary BVLOS test flights (beyond visual line of sight) were successfully carried out in the port of Antwerp, on BASF premises. With these tests, SGS continues to build on sustainable, safe and efficient transport of dangerous goods in the coming months.
