Divide function is better than the divide operator because it handles a divide by zero case with the optional (in square brackets) AlternativeResult argument. Whenever you see a parameter or argument in square brackets that means it is optional and does not have to be specified. We could put 0 or some other value in the AlternateResult if we wanted to.
