London TypeScript Community Meetup (10/02/24): Contributing to JavaScript & TypeScript
On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, Bloomberg hosted our first TypeScript Community Meetup at the company's London Office.
To open the evening, Rob Palmer, the JavaScript Infrastructure & Terminal Experience Lead at Bloomberg and a co-chair of TC39, gave a brief opening talk about why JavaScript/TypeScript is important to Bloomberg. He also explored different ways the company's engineers are helping to shape the future of JavaScript and TypeScript through contributions to open source and helping to standardize new features in EcmaScript, such as BigInt, Class Fields, Change Array by Copy, Temporal, and much more.
