Why I NEVER Use Traction Pads On My Surfboards
I made a comment on a recent similar question on Instagram and got a good response on the subject of traction pads vs no traction pads on your surfboard.
When you look at a lineup, I'd bet you see most people riding with a traction pad.
Is it an age old, solidified norm (like the potato chip surfboard) that has ingrained itself in our culture to...never to go out of style - or is it's use case a positive for most surfers?
Does the type of board matter?
