Before we delve further into IoT, let's review the basics. In this video, I'm creating a project to control lights via WiFi. You can use this project to control appliances at home, such as lights, fans, etc. It's direct-to-use, with the NodeMcu acting as an AP, so it doesn't require an internet connection. In addition to being an AP, this sketch allows the NodeMcu to connect to an existing WiFi network by changing the SSID and password to suit the network.
