The PBR300 line boasts what Rockford's patented Boosted Rail Technology. They describe it as an ultra efficient design that doesn’t use a switching power supply to generate 300 watts of power.
Not only is the amp small but the best thing is that it is extremely efficient. Because the amp is not switching huge currents at high speeds, the amount of radiated noise and radio interference is eliminated.
Also with the help of mosfet output devices these small champions of audio can easily drive 1 ohm loads without any problems.
