Mixing for the bluegrass band GrassStreet on their XR-18 in Cary, NC - Video 9
A very brief overview of the basic setup and running of a bluegrass band's sound system. The bluegrass band is called: GrassStreet (from Durham, NC). The FOH mixing is conducted on an iPad, therefore not too much involved with the hardware of setting up FOH.
The sound system belongs to the band; it did a great job covering the area. Volume level was important, but the event did not require a loud system. The wood floor, where the band was performing, aided in projecting bass over the deck area. The floor resonated well. The camera microphone does not do well picking up bass.
