Avengers: Endgame is an upcoming superhero film based on the Marvel Comics team "The Avengers," produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, scheduled for release in 2019. It's a direct sequel to the 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War and a continuation of The Avengers (2012) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), being the twenty-second film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and features appearances by multiple actors from previous Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
