1965 Riviera Custom Acrylic LED Diffusion Tail Lights Project
So, a couple years ago when I was studying LEDs through acrylic diffusion I had this idea. My Dad was in town and he helped me figure out some of the troubleshooting involved in all of this. It took a lot of very specific measurements And thanks to my job I have access to the Glowforge laser and I used 8th inch proofgrade clear acrylic and luckily all my measurements were correct. I sanded everything down so the lights would be diffused instead of clear glass. Getting everything to sit inside of the ballasts was a whole Nother issue. But the end result is pretty much what I had in my head. Feels good to bring an idea to life. Let me know what you think.
