Want to use Trigger.dev as your workflow engine, but miss the “plug anything in” webhook experience from tools like Make or n8n? In this video, I’ll show you two complete ways to add webhooks to Trigger.dev so you can connect any external service, API, or SaaS tool in a reliable, observable way – without writing a custom backend from scratch.
We’ll start with a hosted, serverless webhook server on Modal, perfect if you want something cheap, easy, and “only pay when it runs.” Then we’ll set up a Docker-based webhook server on Render, ideal if you want always-on performance and super-snappy responses for high-volume or latency-sensitive workflows.
