NEW Paladins Absolution Update Notes Review! - Azaan, New Event Pass, and More!
Welcome back to another video! Evil Mojo just released the patch notes for the final update of 2021, the Absolution Update! This update is jam packed with new skins and balance changes, as well as a brand new champion called Azaan! This is a new front line champion with a powerful and fun set of abilities, and some beautiful skins to boot!
This update also features a brand new event pass featuring sea monster themed skins for Tyra and Saati, as well as associated avatars, sprays, and other cosmetics. There are two more skins coming in this update: Leviathan Yagorath and Salt Io. Leviathan is a sea monster skin for Yagorath, and Salt is a remix skin for Io made in the style of Pip's Pepper skin!
The highlight of the balance changes for this patch are the item changes and major Lian nerfs. Haven is having its effectiveness nerfed, while veteran is getting a price reduction. You can now buy veteran and cauterize at the start of a round, since veteran now only costs 200 credits! Lian also got some proper nerfs primarily focused on her cooldown reset cards. She will no longer be as spammy, but will still be a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield!
