Is this a map of the Malay archipelago in the 1850s?
In 1849-1850, there was a map created that shows the Malay archipelago. But it was not used to show the reality of the Malay archipelago at the time. Even though some of the thing shown by the map is just wrong, it is still fascinating to discover the true use of the map.
