Thistle takes baby goats on first walk
We have mostly Nigerian dwarf goats on our farm, but recently added a couple mini nubians. My favorite thing about them is that they make a really special humming noise to their babies that sounds almost like a harmonica. It really kills me to listen to them sweetly singing to their little kids. Isla and Izzy arrived on April 16 and went on their first walk at just a few hours old. They are such calm little babies, eager to explore their surroundings, and always ready for a cuddle. It is amazing how each goat arrives with a distinct personality. Roger the barn cat joined in on the snuggle when the babies got tired of walking!
