PractiCAM's material tables come with the ability to put your costs in for metals. There are columns for cost per square/ft, cost per lb, and cost per sheet. Each related to one another so if you change one cost they will all automatically adjust. Using these cost tables you can do a few things. First, whenever you are working on a part in the part editor you will be able to click on the dollar sign and get a read out of how much material is in a particular piece and what's that metal worth. Second, you will be able to click on the dollar sign from the input screen and get a list of everything you have entered and you can see a running total of what you have enter thus far. These numbers can also be expressed in terms of Cost, Weight, or Area. And lastly, since everything in PractiCAM can be reportable, we can print out a custom report with our material costs on it.
