January EXPLOSION! EAS Compilation of Alerts EAS
Heck of an event on January 12, 2023. The second storm event of the year and an intense one. First warnings on my local station since September. I set 11 radios to KHC27, all on my dresser and my 12-261 on my desk, along with the zoneguards at first. V2 was also on KHC27, 80% of the time. Even though it looked like that radio did not go off it did 80% of the time because it was on KHC27 when alerts for my local station were issued. My first 262 I own not once activated, absolute shame. 44/45 radios activated throughout the event. This was quite the storm event to start the year, many of these produced small hail and scattered wind damage. EF-0 tornado was confirmed in Gaston county with 75 MPH winds based off of the latest NWS surveys. One TOR was issued for my county. Enjoy this compilation
