What Was It Like To be Hit By A Blaster Bolt?
Blaster bolts were effectively packets of high energy plasma. Unsurprisingly then, getting hit by a blaster bolt had a variety of very painful but strange effects on the human body. Although there were a variety of different blaster bolt types, the effects were generally the same. When a bolt travelled into a targets body, the heat of the plasma would instantly vapourise a victims flesh, with the heat energy immediately dissipating into the body and casturising the wound. The liquid inside the victims body would immediately boil, causing severe internal bleeding and damaging more surrounding tissues. Simultaneously, the concussive force of the bolt would travel outward, causing additional damage to organs.
